My background is in the insurance field, where I have advised as a health, life, and casualty broker for many years. I also hold an RCFE (Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly) Administrator’s license from the California Department of Social Services, so you can be rest assured that I recognize and advocate quality standards in senior care. 

Both my Grandma and my Mom battled dementia for many years. Both lived in assisted living communities as well as residential board & care homes. For me, the dementia journey has been bittersweet, yet rewarding on so many levels. Caring for my Grandma and my Mom has kindled a passion to advocate for seniors and families needing assistance when navigating the myriad of assisted living options. It is not easy for family members to help their loved ones when help is deemed unnecessary or intrusive. I came across every obstacle imaginable. I would like to pay it forward, sharing the knowledge I have learned along the way and ease some of the grumps that can come along with the bumps.
